One team. Brief to production.
Long-term.

01 /

Scope before code.

Every project starts with a conversation about the real problem — not the feature list someone handed us. The right solution is often simpler than the brief, and always cheaper than building the wrong thing.

02 /

Tailored, never templated.

You get software shaped to how your operations run today — and where you want them tomorrow. Stack chosen for the job, not for our convenience. We've worked across enough industries to know there's no one-size answer.

03 /

Privacy isn't a feature.

We collect as little data as possible, keep it in the right jurisdiction, and encrypt what matters. We build to UK GDPR standards — it's the default, not something you pay extra to turn on.

04 /

We stay with the project.

Launch is day one, not the finish line. Every build includes documentation, monitoring, security updates and a real human to email when something breaks.

05 /

We host what we build — or work with what you have.

By default we deploy on our own cloud infrastructure — fast, EU-based and fully monitored. One point of accountability if something goes wrong. If you have an existing setup, we're equally comfortable working within it.

A taste of what we've shipped.

We work with a small number of clients at a time. Here's a recent build — others are in the pipeline and we'll share them once clients are ready.

More work in the pipeline

We have active engagements we aren't yet able to name publicly. We'll feature them here once the clients are ready to share.

Built by someone who's run this stuff in production.

I'm Michael, the founder of Maploft — a software engineer with over 8 years of experience building and running enterprise infrastructure. That background is in logistics, working with organisations across a wide range of industries where the software has to work, the data has to be right, and downtime costs real money.

I started Maploft because too many businesses end up with software nobody maintains and infrastructure nobody understands — handed off by an agency and left to rot. Most projects we take on are scoped, built, deployed and kept running by us. You know who you're talking to, and there's someone accountable long after launch.

I work with a small number of clients at a time, deliberately. Fewer projects means clear thinking, code I'm willing to stand behind, and real attention when something needs it. Most work comes through referrals, which I'm proud of — but new enquiries are always welcome.
